In a tragic event in the Mastung district of Balochistan, Deputy Commissioner Panjgur Zakir Baloch was killed in a targeted assault. Among the injured were three children, namely 8-year-old Samiullah, 11-year-old Khan, and 12-year-old Mujeeb, along with 15-year-old Imran Khan, 23-year-old Abdul Malik, 35-year-old Hazratullah and 50-year-old Manan who were quickly shifted to Trauma Centre Civil Hospital Quetta for treatment.
Another Incident on Sariab Road
In another incident, unidentified persons threw a hand grenade at a girls’ college located on Sariab Road, which exploded with a big bang. This caused panic among students; however, no casualties were reported. Police are investigating this incident, but the motive behind this attack and the attackers’ identity are still unknown.
