Women’s Movements Ignore Work Place Harassment in Many Cases

“Sometimes, it would happen on board, especially with certain passengers who would give me their business cards. It made me angry, but I stayed quiet,” Azekah said.
She further explained that this is harassment, though subtle, and that such women who have similar roles as hers still experience such behavior. Others may not think it is a big deal, but according to Azekah, such activities demean the decorum and professionalism that women working in the service industry should be accorded. “Even today, such things happen, and these must be pointed out,” she added.
Transition to Showbiz: A Journey of Struggles and Triumph
Azekah had been offered some roles in dramas while also working as an air hostess, so she decided to quit that profession and enter the showbiz sector. She began modeling and acting in 2010. But it was not easy for her to rise to the top of the entertainment industry.
Right after her first project, Azekah went through a dry stage whereby. She remained jobless for the next one and a half years. This was a rough period for the young actress as.
