Oasis Reunion Liam and Noel Tease Comeback

The Impending Reunion Oasis fans are thrilled by the recent move made by Liam. And Noel Gallagher, which points to an imminent reunion. It all began on Sunday when both brothers as well as Oasis official social media page shared a video clip with no words in it. The video has the date “27.08.24” displayed in a manner that is typical of the band’s font before changing to reveal “8am.”

Fans Long for Union Oasis 

Ever since Oasis broke up following a backstage fight at Rock en Seine festival in Paris 2009. Fans have been crying out for their reunion. This new teaser has raised hopes once again that these two brothers could perform together again.

Hearsay of Future Concerts Oasis 

Insiders have suggested that next year there might be a series of shows planned by the Gallagher brothers according to The Sunday Times. Some of these might consist of gigs at Wembley Stadium London .Or Heaton Park Manchester with rumors also pointing towards a possible headline slot at Glastonbury.

Liam Galalgher has been very active engaging his fans on X, formerly known as Twitter. Which is even more likely to make people think about the reunion. As a response to this rumor, he said “I never did like that word FORMER” and also shared several news stories about their possible comeback. At the reading festival on Sunday night whilst Liam performed his headlining set, he went ahead and sang Oasis’ song “Half The World Away” dedicating it to his brother Noel therefore indicating there might be a chance of them making up. He also dedicated “Cigarettes & Alcohol” to those who don’t like the band while that same teaser clip with Tuesday’s date was displayed on the stage screens.

One fan even saying that Heaton Park is “the worst place to hold a concert”. Liam’s response was characteristically defiant as he said, “See you down the front…” He teased by asking when would be a good day to announce all this saying, “Next Friday…”

However, amidst all this excitement surrounding them, it is worth noting the acrimonious past between these Gallagher brothers. Their relationship is known to be fraught with conflict. And several tours have been cancelled over the years including the 2009 brawl which ended in Noel quitting the band.

This is thirty years since ‘Definitely Maybe. Oasis’s first album, was released and sold millions of copies worldwide. Bringing fame to the Gallagher brothers and helping Britpop rise.
