To honor Ismail Haniyeh, the martyrdom of Hamas leader, Pakistan will observe a national day of mourning today as decided in a coalition parties meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Pakistan will offer funeral prayers for Ismail Haniyeh and extend medical aid to wounded Palestinians. Additionally, the country will admit Palestinian students to its medical colleges. PM Sharif said that global silence on Israeli terrorism is a worrying issue.
Senior representatives from various parties, including PML-N, Pakistan Peoples Party, Balochistan Awami Party, MQM, Istehkam Pakistan Party, Pakistan Muslim League-Q, and National Party, attended the meeting. They voiced their rage and grief over the ongoing violence against unarmed Palestinians by Israel over the past nine months. They also denounced any form of aggression by Israel, reiterating their constant support for all Palestinian people.
PM Sharif Urges Immediate Aid for Palestinians Amid Rising Tensions
Those present characterized an environment where peace initiatives are intentionally sabotaged, which further raises tensions in the region following Ismail Haniyeh’s recent martyrdom in Tehran. Ongoing state-sponsored violence in Palestine is tragic for the Muslim Ummah; immediate humanitarian aid for Palestinians must be provided, demanded PM Sharif.
Pakistan decided to continue sending relief goods to Palestine and take effective steps to provide medical care for injured Palestinians. They will be brought here for treatment. Additionally, Pakistan will grant admission to Palestinian medical students into its medical colleges on a humanitarian basis.
The meeting decided that today, all of Pakistan would observe a day of mourning to show sympathy for the people of Palestine and condemn Israeli actions. Special prayers and a resolution in Parliament, supported by everyone, were led by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), who valued all people equally.
Islam teaches us not only about justice. But also kindness towards our fellow creatures particularly those belonging to different communities than ourselves because they too belong same Creator Who loves them just as much as He loves us!

Where ever such conditions exist anywhere else besides these territories occupied illegally annexed forcefully colonized robbed stolen lands. Rightful owners of Indigenous peoples live there peacefully side by side harmoniously together despite differences in cultures religions languages customs traditions etc.
