Erdogan Warns: Aggression Could Lead to Israel Incursion

In a speech at a rally Sunday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called on Israel to stop attacking Palestinians. He said Turkey may take a similar action in Israel as it did in Karabakh and Libya.

“Israel must halt its aggression towards Palestine,” Erdogan noted, stressing that the military intervention is possible if the situation continues.

Support for Gaza

Turkey could attack Israel to protect Palestinians in Gaza, according to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Expressing strong backing for the Palestinian cause during a speech delivered Saturday, he said they should be powerful enough so that no more blood will be shed thereby Israelis.

“Let’s not let them through our strength and power spill any more Palestinian blood in that geography,” he added without naming any country specifically, but it was clear who he meant when mentioning “them.”

Conflict Continues

The ongoing conflict has taken an enormous toll on Palestinian lives, with 39,324 dead since October last year alone – including many women and children among them -while bombings have injured 90,830 individuals.

Turkish-Israeli Relations

Relations between the two countries were strained after Turkey took a strong stand against Israeli policies towards Palestinians. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has consistently criticized what he sees as the excessive force used by Israeli soldiers during clashes with stone-throwing youths at checkpoints outside Jerusalem’s Old City walls or near settlements across occupied territories. This latest warning from Ankara underscores its preparedness to take further action if things don’t get better soon.

Worldwide Response

International reactions varied widely following Erdogan’s remarks; some nations supported his position while others called for calmness and peace talks amid escalating tensions between Israelis and Arabs over East Jerusalem, which saw hundreds wounded this month alone, or events like the US embassy opening there yesterday: Erdogan warns that continued aggression may lead to intervention in Israel, similar to actions in Karabakh and Libya.
