The Home Department has notified about the appointment of new special prosecutors. The Lahore government has replaced 13 special prosecutors for the May 9 cases, including the attack on Askari Tower. According to media reports, Advocate Chaudhry Armaghan Ahmed Pasha, Asif Javed Qureshi, and Rao Abdul Jabbar have been appointed special prosecutors by the Home Department.
